Facebook and Advertising

Interesting reading, I recommend it, especially if, like me, you have been sceptical of their rating methods in the past.

I think the popularity of social media of all types means that advertisers will seek and find new ways to reach a younger demographic shopping audience. I know I get plenty of ads on my iPhone when I visit certain sites, like that AOL wasteland. I know, I shouldn't go there if I don't like the ads and believe me, it's only when I don't have a choice

Important News and Technological Breakthrough!

Apple announced today that it has developed a breast implant that can store and play music.

The iBoob will cost from $499 to $699, depending on cup and speaker size.

This is considered a major social breakthrough, because women are always complaining about men staring at their breasts and not listening to them.

Afraid of Heights? Don't Look!! Half Dome Ladder Alert

If you have never had the amazing experience of climbing to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite, this photo will give you an idea of what it looks like if you look down while hiking up the cable ladder for the final push to the top. I was one of the fortunate ones who was able to spend the night back in the late 70s, which is no longer possible.
This photo comes from Google Earth and has no credit so I don't know who took it. The photos from our trip need to be scanned (this was way before digital) and I plan to do that in the future.

Interesting Site I Have Found

If you can put down your iPhone long enough to read, I found this site to be on top of the social networking scene:

Iphone has arrived!

Learning how to answer without hanging up on people and downloading fun apps.. like the spirit level one... which is very useful when setting a tripod up, if it doesn't have a spirit level of its own.

ATT's Service Sucks....

At least the "The AT&T Premier Team" does... now it turns out that the iPhone which they were selling to employees, 3G. 8gb, are now on backorder... despite the fact that the order form said in stock at the time Kay paid for it.
I felt all along that ATT could not keep up with the demand.. these are Factory Refurbished models, which is why they are $50 cheaper than all the other deals. Comes with Apple one year warranty so I have no qualms about buying it. But, they can't meet the damand and of course there are only so many refurbished ones anyway.
So I got all excited for nothing. Who knows how long it will be.
